1) Last Wednesday Josh and I got to watch a second baby--Daniel! We hope that Nora and Daniel will be good friends (they are 8 weeks apart in age). They were thinking about holding hands but Nora didn't want to :)
2. Joel took us out for a celebratory lunch at Applebee's. The CDs are in and the Album Release Party is Friday night!
3. A safe trip to and from Platte City, Missouri. The babies did great :)
4. Taking a stop for lunch in St. Louis--boy, was it warm!! But the babies enjoyed their borrowed double stroller. Daniel scored the back seat (he got to lay down because he's younger) and Nora actually enjoyed lounging in the front :)
5. The rain holding off for the big football game on Saturday. Dave was filming in the Press Box, Josh on the field, and Emily high up in a 'cherry picker' (in the wind). The babies and I came for the second half of the cloudy, windy game. We ended up hanging out on the high jump mat :) They were pretty good but towards the end I had to put them in the stroller and walk around to calm them both down! An hour or so later, the storm rolled in, complete with tornadoes just to the west!
6. Dinner at a Maria's Mexican restaurant later that night :)7. Swimming! The babies got to swim for the first time. They were both actually floating on their back with just a little help. Nora didn't mind the water except when it got in her ears! (Daniel's checking out Nora in this pic!)
8. The weekend was a real success--we sold more than 50 DVDs of the game :) The driving 10+ hours both ways was all worth it and we had a fun time with our friends Dave & Emily!
9. Nora turning 4 months old on Friday--we celebrated with a LONG drive but also with seeing the St. Louis Arch.
10. Nora beginning to get over her first cold--she's been very snotty since Thursday night :( But this may mean that she's teething!
