We have much to be thankful for this past week! Here were some of the highlights:
1. Smiles...Nora is smiling so easily now. The laughs are coming more often too :)
2) Garage sales! I'm not usually so into them but there were a ton around here this last weekend. I was on the lookout for an office chair and baby stuff. Didn't find a chair but did find some nice baby outfits :)3) Ohio for the weekend. Lots of Josh's mom's family were there for the Estate Auction of his great-Aunts' things and also for Mother's Day. Nora perfected her wet raspberry thing...it's one of her favorite things lately. She gets herself and others close by wet! She even enjoyed doing this during the church service (at least she was happy!)
3) My first Mother's Day!! Thanks to Nora who made me a mommy :) We had a really nice stay at Russell and Terri's house--just a year old with a lovely guestroom and pretty porch overlooking lots of farmland.
4) Sunny days! We pulled our hammock out of the shed and Josh and Nora enjoyed it for a few minutes :)
5) Josh coming with us to Story Time on Tuesday (because it was a special day!). We three had a great time!
7) Discovering that the Bumbo is a great addition to our bathroom!! Here Nora is patiently waiting for her bathtime (she still has her diaper on). This little girl just loves looking at herself :)
8) Science Central today with Maria and Owen. This was Nora and my first time (thankfully Maria had free coupons for us). The place was pretty fun but it'll be a few years before Nora will really be able to enjoy it. And most of you know how I feel about science (but hands on stuff can be fun!). In this pic, Aunt Maria's getting Nora to smile and Owen's getting jealous?

We three had a great time!6) Our 2 year anniversary!! My, how time flies. I'm so thankful to God for this amazing man He's gifted me with. We enjoyed a date out to O'Charley's (Nora stayed with Grandma and Grandpa Sauder) I had a great chicken salad and in this picture Josh is sipping my excellent strawberry lemonade. We had chocolate from DeBrands for dessert!
