Valentine's Day :)

There were a few new things for Nora that I failed to mention last week. She has been using new words--but only daddy has heard them! She said 'dog' (or Doug?) while looking at a dog book. Also has said 'yum' and maybe 'yes'. We're not sure about the new words (because she hasn't really repeated them). But we are sure that she's been growing and changing a lot in these last few days. She'll pull up on just about anything, walk with one hand being held (sometimes) and climb stairs like a pro (not sure about getting down though). And just today she did her first sign (I've not done this with her very often)--MORE! Granted she did it half-way but I understood!

Here are some things we're thankful for:

We got to spend the evening and day with my mom Friday and Saturday. Her birthday was Saturday and it was great to be there on that day and see lots of family members. Grandma also enjoyed helping Nora up the stairs. They were pretty slippery so she needed more help.

It was such a blessing to us that Nora got to stay with Grandma Maynard on Saturday night so Josh and I could have an enjoyable Valentine's Eve together. We went out to dinner at TGIFriday's (joined their eclub to get a pass to front of line and free dessert!). Then headed to the Embassy for the Philharmonic. It was a great concert :)

We met up with Aunt Kim and Nora at Coldwater and also enjoyed a nice lunch at Applebee's :) Here's Nora trying to drive daddy's truck away!

Daniel turned 1 on Monday! So we enjoyed having lunch with the whole family at our favorite--BW! Here's a blast from the past--one year ago! 2/15/09
