Nora's News

I figured we needed a new looking blog to officially announce our news here. As most of you already know, Nora is going to be a big sister! We found out more than a month ago but waited til right before vacation to tell our family and friends. We've already had 2 ultrasounds and the due date is December 30. Nora will have to share her birthday-time with a little brother or sister. Tomorrow we'll be 11 weeks along--I'm afraid this pregnancy will go slower since we've known since the very beginning! But I'm sure keeping up with Nora will keep my mind off of the time. Speaking of Nora, she's officially a toddler! It depends on the day but she now enjoys walking :) Today, she was walking all over the house--from holding on place to holding on place. We had fun outside tonight...it was so beautiful! I had some weeding and watering to do. Nora kept busy walking behind her scooter ALL over the driveway.

We had a great weekend. I got home from visiting in Michigan Friday afternoon. It wasn't long before we headed to Parkview Field to watch the Tin Caps play with the Feed Mill. We had dinner and got to watch the game until the overhang--which was nice when it started to rain half way into the game. Unfortunately, the home team did not win--the other team earned 7 runs in the 8th inning! After the game, we got to see the fireworks--Nora actually liked them.

On Saturday, we watched Daniel Affholter--we went to the pond together then he slept the rest of the time :) later in the day we went to an Open House (with a chocolate fountain!) then we had a great time hanging out with good friends from church and got to play our new favorite game--Marbles and Jokers.

Sunday morning, we played in the praise band. After church we went to the Affholter's for lunch to celebrate Daniel's dedication. We got to relax in the afternoon :) Then the Sauder's all got together to take a family photo. We all had our matching colors and were all ready. The pictures were great--except Nora wasn't looking for 48/50! The other 2 are nice though. After the pictures we enjoyed dinner together at Culver's :)

We've had a great week and hope that all have too! There are blessings all around us if only we have the eyes to see them.
