Happy 2010!

Hi friends and family...isn't it great to get a new year? 2010 has been very nice so far (and I like the evenness of the numbers). I pray that 2010 will be full of blessing for all of you!
1) We had a nice time with my dad and Meredith. We spent the day New Years Eve having lunch in town and also traveling down to Mitchell Books--our favorite bookstore in Ft. Wayne. We also had a nice time just being together. Nora enjoyed playing with Grandpa's iTouch--esp. bowling in their pjs.

We had a nice New Year's Eve spent with my dad and our friends the Affholter's. We played Wii, had cupcakes, watched Jim Gaffagan (lol!), and watched the ball drop with sparkling grape juice.
2) We had our last Christmas of 2009 with Josh's close family. It's always fun getting together and we had many nice gifts. Nora and mommy got lots of nice clothes, gift cards (including to get my hair cut!), books, Nora got a cool tent/tunnel that we want to try out, and Josh got a nice mini-fridge for the office!
3) Josh had a very positive meeting with Rosalind on Saturday morning! She is a gospel singer with great connections and wants to help Pinnacle Productions succeed. We pray that many blessings will come out of meeting her!
4) Saturday afternoon spent with Josiah. He was in town for Christmas...it was great to hang out although we missed seeing his wife. Nora and Josiah get on well!


5) Nora is all about crawling now! You can't keep her in one place for long :) Daddy got a series of photos Saturday night of Nora's path to Samson's water bowl :/ We're going to have to hide that pretty soon! 6) Nora had her 1 year check-up on Tuesday. We are so blessed to have a happy and healthy baby! She is still off the charts weighing 15 lbs. 13 oz. (only gained 11 oz these last 3 months!), she did grow an inch. The doctor isn't concerned and we love our petite peanut! She had to have blood taken for anemia testing (came back she doesn't have it, PTL) which didn't make her too happy. But all in all it was a good trip. Here is a big smile from Nora in her cute new clothes with her new toy, Violet, who can be programmed to say "Hi, Nora!" It was a challenge to keep that hat on Nora's head!!
