Woohoo!! Made it to Week 14 & the second trimester :) Bobby is now the length of a lemon--about 3.5 inches! He's in there squinting, peeing, and possibly sucking his thumb. He (or she) is also stretching out more this week as his neck is getting longer. He's also growing some downy hair called lanugo that is keeping him nice and warm. But as he grows more baby fat, he'll lose most of that hair.
Also today, Josh & I went to our second appointment. He really wanted to come this time because he couldn't come to hear the heartbeat last time. This appointment was really easy--we got to ask her a lot of questions & then we got to hear the heartbeat!! It was still amazing. Josh was trying to make the heartbeat sound the rest of the day :) Next appointment...in 4 weeks, we'll get to have the ultrasound!! Still don't want to know the sex of the baby though.
