This subject is something I've been repeating often lately!! And since it's been on my mind, I will start the post with it. She is now just 2 days late (and if our first due date was correct she's not late--it was 1-1-11). We had a good check-up last Monday and the doctor said there weren't many changes so we set up another appointment for this Monday. I've been hoping to have Nikki by then but I haven't been feeling like she's arriving any time soon. She's taking her time but it's been tough on her mommy to remain patient! Especially when we have a new baby in the family. Ben and Maria had their baby, Ian Charles, on Christmas Day. He was a week early but 8 lb. 1 oz. and healthy. Nora loved meeting him and couldn't stop saying: "Hi, baby!" every time she saw him :)
My mom and Meredith visited Monday night-Thursday night which was very helpful in keeping my mind off babytime and getting the house all ready for her to come. We had lots of fun making t-shirts, playing with Nora, cooking, baking, taking down the Christmas tree, watching movies, and playing Dutch Blitz.
We celebrated Christmas with Josh's family yesterday--we had lots of good food, a surprise puppet show (which Nora was terrified of!), and got lots of nice gifts. Then today we had another Christmas/New Years get together with Josh's extended Sauder family.
